The Pavilion isn't really a pavilion anymore, it's a village hall.

The Pavilion was originally erected as a combined sports pavilion for the recreation field and a village hall for community events.

The pavilion is not used solely as a village hall and is used for various community purposes. It hosts a variety of clubs and societies who use the pavilion for their social and indoor sporting events. We have a variety of events including a bridge club, indoor bowls and art classes.

The pavilion is also used for birthday parties, meetings, quiz nights and social gatherings such as a book club.

It's a basic, but lovely venue situated on the south side of the village with good access to Newmarket and surrounding villages. It is situated within the Ashley park which has parking, a playing field and a children's playground that has excellent facilities.

Please see other pages for more details on the facilities of the pavilion and how to rent.

The Pavilion Trust also run a local lottery call the "100 Club". This is a local small lottery that provides a lottery for the village with the aim of small prizes and funding for the pavilion. The lottery is £12 per year to enter and we have 12 draws a year. The prizes are allocated on order of a random draw and are; 1st £30, 2nd £20 and 3rd £10. The prizes are paid in cash.
